Frequently Asked Questions
Dragonmun Studios
No.
Although we produce our own comics, we're not publishers in the regular sense of the term. We do not even handle our own online or in-store distribution ourselves. This is done through Ka-Blam (our comic book printer), Indy-Planet (their online store). and Comics-Monkey (their print to order catalog).
Even though we will not publish your comic for you, we can look over it to make sure that it fit's Ka-Blam's technical specifications. Please note that we will not do this for free. If you would like for us to proof your comic, please send an email for a quote (do not send your comic in this initial email).
Probably not.
Generally, we're up to our ears in work on our own illustration projects and cannot spare time towards a 3rd-party venture. However, this does not mean that we never accept commission work. For information regarding that, please visit the individual staff pages under the "comicers" menu above.
A wonderful resource for finding a comic artist can be found at the Digial Webbing talent search classifieds at http://www.digitalwebbing.com/talent/.
You don't. Sorry.
The little group that we have now came together out of necessity during times of difficult convention work. We're not looking to expand our staff at this time.
This just kind of happens. There is no criteria for it, but is usually the end result of a long-lasting business relationship. Please do not send us portfolios or requests to be included in a project.
However, if you would like for us to read a comic that you are already working on, you may submit in an email to us. We cannot guarantee that we will feature it on our site, but we do like to read and are likely to do so while procrastinating on work. :)
